Mrs. Figueroa has been a teacher since 2008 and joined the speech and debate community in 2018. She is very passionate about her job with the philosophy that every student is capable of success and is entitled to succeed. It is her hope that she can bring to light the excitement of speech and debate into the lives of each of her students.

Anayre joined Speech & Debate her Freshman Year of high school to inspire others to find their voice. This year as her final year at MAS, Anayre has every intention to make it the best year yet.

Amanda has been a part of Speech & Debate since her Freshman Year. This year as an officer, she hopes to become more involved with Speech & Debate as well as, motivate students to participate while
having fun.

Melissa has been a part of Speech & Debate since her Freshman Year. She wanted to be an officer because Speech & Debate has always been one of her passions. This year, Melissa hopes to make this year’s experience memorable.

Carolina has wanted to be part of Speech & Debate for a while. Her goal is to help other students who join our club have a higher chance of of being successful.

Julia has been in Speech & Debate since her Freshman Year. This year, Julia wanted to be our historian because she enjoys taking and editing pictures.
